Fishing permissions for the Klopeiner See or Stausee are free for our guests in the pre-and postseason with a minimum stay of 10 days.

Fishing at Kleinsee or Klopeiner See

The Kleinsee is one of the most beautiful fishing waters in the country with its well-protected reed belt, breeding ground for many bird species, a really wonderfully idyllic natural lake, about 500 meters from the Florianihof. The lake is about 9 hectares in size. The lake to the west of Klopein is surrounded by a reed belt. Depth up to 9 m. The banks are partially undermined and, like the water lily fields, offer the fish ideal accommodation options. There is a species-rich fish stock. The Klopeiner See has a size of 1.1 km ² and a depth of up to 46 m.

Fly fishing

The Vellach is a fishing water over 20 km long - a wild romantic, crystal clear river with very good fish stock-and about 8 km from the Florianihof. Other interesting fishing waters in the immediate vicinity: Turnersee, Gösselsdorfer See, Drau with rich floodplain, various ponds ... And a stone's throw across the border: The Soca, the pearl of Slovenia, the Emerald River with the unique "Marmasata " is about 110 km away.
